Threnodian

Threnodian is an ever-evolving metal project born in Nashville, TN.  Originally formed as a six piece band in 2018, they released the debut full length album “Solastalgia” in October of 2020.  After a season of setbacks following the release, brothers Jordan and Wes Thompson were the last remaining members.

They wrote and recorded a follow up release “The Wheel” as a duo, with Wes performing all instrumentation and Jordan all vocals.  The EP was released in spring of 2023 independently, with production and engineering by Thaddeus Sparkman of Earthswallower and cover art inked by Adam Gersh.  The current form consists of vocalist Jordan Thompson, guitarists Aaron Stearns and Grant Fannin, bassist Jason Statum, and drummer Wes Thompson.
